Areas Served: North and Central New Jersey, New York City Jeanne's passion for interior decorating evolved over many years of moving, both in and out of the U.S. With each move, she refined her ability to create a home for her family by using and re-purposing what she had. The key furniture pieces remained mostly the same, but each home had its own personality through the introduction of new colors, fabrics and accessories. It was only natural that Jeanne would be attracted to Lauri Ward's decorating philosophy. As soon as she discovered Lauri's best-selling book, "Use What You Have", she knew that she had found her mentor and went to New York to train with her in December, 2000. Jeanne subsequently studied at the Sheffield School of Design in New York City. Jeanne started Rooms Redefined in Reston, VA in February 2001, and for nearly seven years she enjoyed working with the wonderfully diverse and well-traveled people who live in the DC Metro area. She achieved rave reviews in the area’s highly respected “Washington Consumers’ Checkbook”, where clients praised her eye for color, her ability to work within your budget and the specificity of her recommendations, - not to mention the value for money her service provides! Jeanne moved back home to the northeast to Maplewood, New Jersey in 2007. She is planning to stay and is enjoying the proximity to New York, with all its design resources. Whether it’s advice about paint colors or designing an entire room from scratch, Jeanne will put you on the road to decorating success! |
